APR measures progress towards graduation for student athletes on athletic scholarship. The Huskies have earned a perfect APR 6 of the last 7 years, posting the highest average score of any CAA baseball program and the 2nd highest of any New England baseball program.
ABCA Academic Excellence

The American Baseball Coaches Association's honors programs that post a cumulative GPA over 3.0 on a 4.0 scale with their Team Academic Excellence Award. NU has earned the award 3 of the last 5 years including two in a row.
CAA Academic Excellence
2021 2023
The CAA recognizes collective performances in the classroom with the Team Academic Excellence Award. The award recognizes the institution with the highest team GPA in each of the 22 sponsored sports. Northeastern has earned the award for Baseball 2 of the last 3 years.
Student Athlete Support Services
The Northeastern SASS Department assists our student-athletes in all areas regarding academics. Our team academic advisor helps our players select classes, maintain progress towards their degree, request tutors, and form great study habits. He travels with the team to road games, often administering tests and monitoring study hours, and also serves as a liaison to deans and professors.
